Pack For A Trip With Style
Pack for a Trip with Style
“the trick is not to just pack, rather to pack efficiently”
Have you ever experienced the slight embarrassment of arriving at your three-day getaway with an amount of luggage that would suggest you’re moving to a different state, at which point to try and mask your vanity with excuses for bringing such an amount of clothes? But worse is when you open your suitcase and you realize that you have nothing to wear! I don’t know about you but when I have to fly somewhere I always fall into feeling incredibly indecisive about what to pack. Now the trick is not just to pack, rather to pack efficiently so when you get to your destination you’re not stuck with a whole lot of something and nothing to wear.Making the Pick

Rather then just packing random shirts, jeans and dresses, pack full outfits. What outfits are going to wear each day? Try to choose combination’s that can share the same pants and shoes. Don’t worry about wearing the same jeans twice or three times, they don’t need a washing after every wear! When I pack, I put together full looks and label them by days I will be wearing them example: Day 1- black skinny jeans, vintage Beatles tee, black Seychelles boots and a black wrap sweater. You can obviously switch up days when you’re going to wear them, but at least you’ll have complete looks ready to go.
My dilemma more then choosing clothes is always what shoes to bring. In a perfect world I would bring a suitcase just for shoes along with my other luggage. Try to choose a pair of shoes that will match all your clothes. If you’re bringing boots, wear them to the airport, you’ll save room in your suitcase for other things. If you have lots of beauty products, get travel sizes. Pop into a beauty supply store and ask if they have samples they can give out, they usually have samples of the latest hair, face and body care products. Some of my favorites are Biolage hair products and Dermalogica skin and body care. I once packed for a one-week trip to New Your in just one carry-on suitcase! If you find that your things are spilling out your suitcase, you can always get a big bag, like a beach bag and put your things in it including your purse, pillow, book, hairbrush etc..
