How To Walk In Heels

“Beauty Takes Sacrifice”

Pet peeve, seeing women walk in high heels that do not know how to properly do so. As my mother would say it ‘it’s like watching cows walk on ice’. Wearing high heels is supposed to make the woman more elegant, feminine, and sexy. Heels are supposed to add to the allure of a woman not make her look like an old lady lunging across the street. The right walk elongates the woman’s legs and improves her posture, naturally moving the hips in the swaying motion and making her feel and look more confident.

A Pair Of Heels That Fit

The last thing you want is to resemble the wicked stepsister in Cinderella trying to fit her paw into the slipper”
It takes some practice, but it is worth it.  First, make sure you have a pair of heels that properly fit your feet. If your big or middle toe is hovering over the front tip of your heel, it does not fit you. Lets face it, feet aren’t exactly the most attractive part of the body and the last thing you want is to resemble the wicked stepsister in Cinderella trying to fit her paw into the slipper. If there is too much room on the back of the shoe, it does not fit you.  Not only is it dangerous to wear shoes that are too big for you, it will automatically prevent you from having that elegant and sexy walk.

Prevent Slipping

Next, you should scratch up the bottom of the heel, you can do so with any sharp or pointed object like a key or a knife. This will give you more traction and help to prevent slipping. Then once you’ve stepped into the heels make sure that your posture is lined up correctly, suck in that tummy, shoulders are pulled back. Breathe, relax, you’re not walking over a raised rope tided between two towers here.

Insecurity

“It can directly affect the first impressions”

If you’re insecure about being tall like a giraffe or if you’re big busted, walking hunched over does not make you significantly shorter nor does it shrink your bust size. On the contrary, walking hunched over screams, insecurity, laziness, sloppiness, low self-esteem and low energy. Having the right posture affects much more then your femininity. It can directly affect the first impressions you will receive on a job interview or when meeting with a possible client.
