I am pleased to be invited to share with you some of my ideas about what to wear for travelling. I know that the readers of this website are interested in fashion tips for all and how to incorporate good fashion in our travel clothes.

I am all for that. You don't have to have travel clothes that are just practical, but how do we combine comfort and fashion at the same time?

Never take a piece of clothing that can only be worn on its own, you must be able to wear it with every other item in your travel wardrobe.

Try to keep the light colors for accessories and don't make it your base color. When it comes to holiday clothes, dark colors are easier to keep clean.

1920 womens fashion spells fun, bright colours and it is a fashion evolution.
In the 1920s, social changes of the era gave birth to a new type of woman, it is the decade in which fashion entered the modern era. In fact this was the period when fashion became less formal and one of the biggest happening of the 1920's was the worship of youth.

In other words we can say that fashion was incredibly modernized by the year 1920s. During this period 1920 womens fashion changed drastically and it was the reflection of their growing freedom and individualism.

The women’s fashion typically featured brighter and more vibrant colours in comparison to the fashions from the previous decades.

It was during this period that women first liberated themselves from constricting fashions and began to wear more comfortable clothes like short skirts , trousers etc.

If you remember the story from The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, where the buttons were replaced by the zippers, it was also the time where zip became popular in 1930s.
It was one of the most substantial developments in the 1930s ladies fashion industry, where a sales campaign for vintage designer dresses started to use zippers on children’s clothing.

In the early 1930s, women were tired of fighting over equality, and decided to get rid of the boyish look.

With more attention at the shoulder, they began to wear more tailored vintage designer dresses with butterfly sleeves, small waistline curves and budding rounded busts to enhance the feminine structure of a lady.

The dresses were long and elegant. Distinctive difference of the clothes could be seen between the daywear and the evening gown.
The day wear was sweet and graceful; the evening wear was often backless, with the gown longer at the back.

These flowy dresses are known as the asymmetrical dresses and are daring, glamour and close fitting which were intended to show their slim figures with the added sequins to shimmer even more under the light.

These 1930s vintage clothing was made from the man-made fibres. It was the time when synthetic nylon was widely used to make stockings; rayon that felt and looked similar like a silk was used for dresses and viscose for linings and lingerie.

Other than the 1930s vintage clothing, which was using new improved fabrics, another interesting trend in this era was the passion for sunbathing.
Travelling to resorts along the Mediterranean for sunbathing was fashionable. They tried to get themselves tanned and show them off with their sexy, backless evening gowns.

Although 1930s was also the great depression era, it did not halt it from being the era of the dancing, big bands and night life.

The fashion industry was started to be determined by the Hollywood actresses as people were becoming more aware of the hairstyles and dresses they had seen on the screen.

It was also the time where hair perm was improved. Thus, the 1930s hairstyles became more appealing, with softer perms. As the 1930s hairstyles were also influenced by the fashion trends and Hollywood actresses, it was starting to be more feminine compared to the boyish hairstyles of the 20s.

The cloche hats were replaced with the small plate shaped hats, revealing their foreheads, often worn tilted to one side.

Other renowned 1930s fashion trends include the handkerchief with pleats, mix matching of skirts and dresses with clutch coats and the halter necklines, backless dresses in the late 1930s.

Many of the design of these flowy dresses are contemporary in fashion design. The fashion in this era could be the inspirations of the designers today.

Pink is the new black and men in pink is a hot debate topic these days! It has been very much debated that pink is a very feminine and soft colour that should only be worn by women because it is the opposite of what many men try to show which is a tough sturdy exterior.

Men often associate the colour pink with lack of masculinity or worn by those that are of the homosexual community. However, that is not the case for men's fashion style and in fact it's far from it.

The colour pink is said to be very alluring and attractive, especially on a man because it does not take away your tough manly form, it still shows that you are hard, sturdy and rough on the outside but soft, sensitive and vulnerable on the inside.

In fact, most girls are very attracted to men with this sort of character and charm.

Pink is indeed a soft colour but that's what makes it suited for almost every skin tone from the darkest to the fairest with different shades of pink. Pink is a delicate and fine colour that blends very well with most of the colours in a man's wardrobe especially for men's fashion shirts that is commonly very dark and tedious but much needed for formal engagements. Furthermore, pink shirts and sweaters are a good look on a well-built guy because the color is subtle, allowing your toned and muscular triceps, abs and such be seen clearly.

For those guys that prefer a less pink spectacle, the best men's fashion advice would be a simple pale or even slightly darker that light pink as an office tie. The contrast it has against your white shirt and black pants will look absolutely striking and tasteful.

Pink is indeed a colour for all ages and all genders because it is soft and delicate yet alluring and vivacious. I personally truly love the colour pink and I think that it has an effervescent look to it whilst making a bold statement particularly on a guy.
